How is the cost of assitant living estimated?
Knowing how my father feels about going into a nursing home, I think that will be the last option we visit. For now, I am trying to figure out how to go about getting assistant living and medical care while they remain in their own home. I am just confused as to how the cost is estimated. Is it based on hours? Days a week? I am just not sure.
My father and mother are not to a point where they need it but I want to be prepared in case their cognitive functions decline rapidly.

Thank you for the advice. I know there are some people who do offer their services cheaper but I do feel more comfortable working with an actual business who screens their employees.
