Upward Care was founded with the purpose of providing hands on skills training for family caregivers. The Caregiver Video Series was produced with the vision of reinforcing and supplementing that education. Our goal is to give family caregivers the skills necessary to care for their loved one and improve outcomes for the Caregiver and Care Recipient.

The videos are broken down by module including:

• Transfer Training

• Bed Bound Care (which includes Hoyer Life)

• Fall Prevention

Our instructors and other healthcare professionals are available for questions about the videos or your particular situation on the forum.  We encourage you take advantage of that great resource!

 

If you have not received personal hands on skills training from one of our nursing instructors (Austin / San Antonio) and are interested feel free to contact us directly. Most families experience no out of pocket costs.
